And we call our jobs shitty ...

Celebrating April fool's day, google this year too declared launch of two fake products: Tisp and paper [Follow techcrunch on that]. Google claimed that tisp is FREE in-home wireless broadband service that would connect you to the outer world using on potseat-based router which would provide you with optical cables that would run through the sewage system. It is hard to believe that there exists [or existed] an IT company which actually got a VC funding for the same idea. City Telecom, back in dot-com boom came up with this idea and got themselves a funding of $375. They used remote control based robots to lay down cables and managed to create some small network in US.
Imagine how bad would be the maintenance....
